In a bid to raise the level of cognizance about deaf culture amongst today's youth NSS SRCC conducted a workshop on Sign Language. The workshop was a small attempt towards bridging the gap between the hearing and the deaf community. We thank all the students for an amazing response and we hope it was an enriching experience, learning the tricks and hacks so you can be of more help to the society in future. Here are few snapshots from that day.
NSS is an amazing way of giving back to our community. It is not just like any other society but here real service is done. A genuine effort is made to raise awareness through workshops and various events. The urge to serve the society is something which cannot be forced and should come from within. I look forward to be a part of more such events :)

ReplyDeleteNSS is very far from the terminology 'society'. It is not only confined to social service but diversified to various activities, workshops, seminars and visits relating to environment, youth, women etc. Members of NSS work in unity not for self motive but for a good reason i.e. uplifting those people who are distant from the normal human life. It is events like these which shows that humanity prevails in our society and this is the primary reason which induces a NSS member like me to be an active member of NSS.

Nss has been a great experience till date and expecting the same and maybe more from the future. Nss journey is gonna be memorable throughout life. The events, activities, workshops etc. have provided a platform where we not only serve the society but also learn various things that we can implement in future for betterment of the society. Feeling extremely honored to be a part of it... Nss gives a satisfaction of being able to contributing something to towards the welfare of the society. Have encountered way less than things awaiting for the future! Looking forward to it :)
