White Cane Safety Day Celebration
The event was kick started with a welcome speech by Mr. Saif Ahmed Khan, founder of Save the Quest. It was followed by an inspiring speech by Mr.Mukesh Jain, the joint-secretary of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. His words reached the heart of every listener. Subsequently, the walk was inaugrated by our respected principal Dr.Ashok Sehgal. The blind folded walk was a great eye-opener for the participants. They could now understand the hardships faced by the visually challenged. The day was also marked by some heart-touching performances by visually challenged people.
The highlight of the event was the performance of Diwakar which pulled in a lot of crowd. His melodious voice was a feast to behold.
